Healthcare Burnout & Resilience: Mental Health & Spiritual Tools

BIO: Kevin Prendergast, MAPC, LPCC-S, has done clinical counseling since 1989, both at Catholic Charities and a large Cincinnati hospital system, where he assisted residents and attending physicians. He taught pastoral counseling for 26 years at Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary. He has a special interest in working with first responders, veterans, couples, those with addictions, and survivors of trauma. He has had a weekly segment on Sacred Heart Catholic Radio since 2007, focusing on the integration of psychology and faith. Before doing full-time therapy, he served in youth ministry at the parish and archdiocesan levels. He is married, with two adult children and six grandchildren. He and his wife are active at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Cincinnati.
